Starting his first business at the age of 18, then losing it all to the Liberian civil war at age 23 and later becoming a pioneer in tech industry, Amar Deep Singh Hari went through a roller coaster journey to be an achiever. A co-founder of IPMC group of companies, Amar is one of West Africa’s most recognizable business leaders.
It’s not just the business dealings but it’s his overall life experiences that have assisted Amar to help others find their own success & resilience. He firmly believes that you have a responsibility to give back, if God has placed you in such a position. Amar, in his effort to “pay it forward,” supports a diverse range of causes & charities from education, healthcare and community development.

Set foot in Canada- incorporated tech company – IPMC Smart Technologies
Ventured into businesses of hospitality and real estate
IPMC rolled out it’s IT education centers
Developed his first software ‘Accounts manager’ which automated many Ghanaian businesses
Moved to Ghana and incorporated IPMC, a technology service provider
Got displaced by the Liberian civil war and moved back to India
Expanded to a film theater, fast food joint, discotheque and casino
Moved to Liberia and started his first business of a video library
Completed his education in Delhi, India
